Patrol

The Patrol Division conducts highly visible patrols throughout Lawrence County, mostly within the unincorporated portions of the county. Specific duties include responding to and answering complaints of victims of crimes. The patrol deputies will start the initial investigation, records initial statements and completes an incident or offense report. Patrol also enforces traffic laws, deters criminal activity, serves warrants, apprehends criminals, performs building checks, and builds relationships within our communities.
